Software Engineer

L3 Advanced Programs is seeking a Software Engineer in our Burlington, MA facility for diverse duties related to radar system development. The individual should have experience in designing, developing and testing software products within a multi-disciplinary engineering team. The individual should have strong fundamentals in configuration management, issue tracking, and testing/validation of software components.
The successful candidate will design, develop and analyze complex software applications, modules, and components in both standard and as part of real-time operating systems. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in modeling, simulation and analysis with an emphasis on digital signal processing, algorithms and effective user interfaces for minimal oversight of complex software applications.
Requirements:
BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of five years' experience
Experience with software development within the Linux operating environment
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Subversion or Git)
Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
Experience with real-time operating system, e.g., Wind River's VxWorks
Experience with Ethernet and IP protocols.
General knowledge of data communication concepts.
Experience with and understanding of complex software architectures
Ability to effectively communicate technical information both orally and in writing.
Ability to estimate development schedules based on requirements analysis.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required
Required Skills:
Expertise in C/C
Development using both IDE and command-line tools in the Linux operating system
Graphic user interface design and development
Desired Requirements/Skills:
Knowledge of Embedded C, Python, and MATLAB
Network theory and practice; familiarity with high performance computing platforms;
Radar signal processing algorithm software development
Active Secret clearance is desirable

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
