Product Support Specialist


TomTom is looking for the best and brightest minds in Product Support to join the Telematics Business Unit group within our North American team. TomTom Telematics offers an out-of-the-box fleet management solution to commercial vehicle fleets, serving over 31,000 satisfied business customers. The experience and future opportunities will include providing business-to-business technical support to customers of TomTom's tracking, tracing and fleet management products, managing new product and service introductions and partnering with other departments such as product management and sales to resolve customer issues and identify corrective actions.
As a member of the global Telematics team, you are asked to deliver the following:
Detailed service records for customer phone and email interactions
Assistance with developing product FAQs and identifying training topics
Participation in regular meetings with local and global support teams to share issues/findings/best practices
What do we expect from you?
To be successful a Product Support Specialist, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:
Associates degree with 2 to 4 years of customer service experience
Preferred candidates will have technical experience with software and/or hardware products in a B2B environment
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work independently as well as contribute to the team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Exceptional customer service skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
