Job Duties: Work with Technical team to develop a solution design capable of fulfilling the customers current and future marketing and analytic needs. Solve clients business problems through the application of technology, process analysis and improvement, and systems analysis and design. Define technical project requirements by identifying project milestones and elements. Assess effort and pricing requirements for technical project deliverables. Serve as a core member of the Technical Services team for new and existing engagements. Lead Discovery sessions with a broad spectrum of marketing and technical business clients. Capture, interpret and document functional requirements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of project deliverables. Represent expertise to clients in the strategies, tactics and day to day needs of database marketing, the tools that clients utilize and the data that drives them. Utilize knowledge and experience with managing multiple projects with a commitment to meeting project deadlines; integrating the cross-functional needs of marketing, technology, and other areas of an organization into an effective business solution. Utilize knowledge and experience of relational databases; PL/SQL; campaign management or business intelligence tools in support of pre-campaign and post-campaign analysis; project development lifecycles and QA/QC testing methodologies. Work in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include the following: relational database understanding; working knowledge of PL/SQL; business intelligence tools (Business Objects and Cognos); experience with project development lifecycles and QA/QC testing methodologies. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
