We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Lead Data Scientist on a Full time direct employee basis. In this role, the Lead Data Scientist will:
Lead in the design and development of new product innovation in big data analytics, predictive analytics and visualization, to include but not limited to linear and integer programming, Python and R scripting and SQL Server/PostgreSQL querying.
Gather business requirements associated with big data and advanced analytics, and deliver results.
Identify project details, conduct ad hoc analyses, implement best practices and develop new, advanced analytics that improve the efficiency and quality of project and company deliverables
Deliver analytic and quantitative solutions to clients
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
Analytical approaches, statistical techniques and relevant technologies which includes modeling
Software platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
Strong project management skills with excellent problem solving, analytical skills and attention to details
Software development, consulting, analytics or related area. Experience/familiarity with life sciences or healthcare industries required.
