manager
to create and manage 10 conferences per year. You will identify, research and develop market driven, unbiased conferences unique to the life science industry.
You will work closely with and recruit
executive
level speakers to present at each conference, develop timely/relevant content and spearhead ongoing marketing/social media initiatives. You will work closely with a cross functional team that includes: sponsorship, sales, marketing, customer service and event management on a project basis.
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Management or a related field. At least 2 years of progressive business experience is preferred. You must have strong project management skills, experience with market research, the ability to write clearly and concisely and strong verbal communications skills. You have the ability to work effectively under tight production timeframes on multiple projects. Some travel to conferences is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
