Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting - Remote

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a fast-growing publicly traded Tech company based in Burlington to identify a Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting/Technical Accounting to join their team. This position is primarily remote but does require an occasional in-office presence. All applicants must reside in Southern New England to be considered. The Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting/Technical Accounting's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for assigned general ledger accounts. Conduct technical accounting research, including equity and debt financing, acquisitions, stock compensation, goodwill, and intangible assets, and going concern. Assist in the company's external reporting process, prepare/compile and assess the disclosures included in Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and support the quarterly earnings release. Prepare quarterly stock compensation accounting and reporting. Assist in quarterly reviews and annual audit and prepare audit schedules, as necessary. Proactively identify issues causing inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications:
BS degree in Accounting 3

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
