Ascend Learning is now hiring a consultative Senior Talent Development Specialist.
As a Senior Talent Development Specialist, you will help further design and execute the talent and learning and development strategies for the organization, enabling the growth of our people and our businesses.
The Senior Talent Development Specialist will report to the Director of Talent, Inclusion and HR, and work in collaboration with the extended Human Resources team to help align talent capabilities to support both short and long-term organizational outcomes and objectives.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success executing talent, learning, and development initiatives as well as emphasizing on-the-job learning opportunities supported by targeted high-impact formal programming.

This position will be working a hybrid schedule from our Burlington, MA or Leawood, KS office location strongly preferred.
Remote will be considered.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive curriculum of learning experiences through collaboration with the HR and business leaders.
Execute talent initiatives in support of our HR strategy, ensuring that programs have a transformational impact on the engagement and development of our team members.
Manage the design, development, implementation, and evaluation learning and capability-building programs.
Support ongoing Performance Management, Succession Management, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Brand/Communications Partners, and key stakeholders to execute solutions that will meet the needs of our team members and facilitate organizational success.
Bring instructional design expertise and thought leadership to build innovative, scalable, and contemporary solutions to the talent organization.
Manage relationships with existing vendors and identify and partner with additional vendors as needed.
Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience required.

years of growing experience in instructional design, learning and development, and talent development.
Experience with a wide variety of instructional design tools and methodologies, including cutting-edge technology and concepts in areas of assessment, performance management, and career development.
Skills & Abilities Apply instructional design, adult learning principles, development, and authoring approaches aimed at delivering engaging learning experiences.
Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management
Experience:
conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close.
Collaborate with the ability to brainstorm and bring new perspectives to the table.
Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels.
Keen attention to detail, action-oriented, and demonstrated ability to successfully move forward multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to build strong relationships, communicate with impact, and collaborate effectively across all functions and levels of the organization.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
