Head of Strategic Partner Accounts, Life Science Services

The Head of Strategic Partner Accounts, Life Science Services (LSS) will drive the global view of our targeted strategic accounts and market segments, developing a multi-year plan to deepen engagement and expand our share of wallet.
You operate in a matrixed environment but take ultimate accountability for the global performance for the full Life Science Services offering across our network of CTDMO (Contract Testing, Development and Manufacturing) sites at our most strategic accounts.
You also ensure the organization has developed an investment plan of appropriate resources to implement these plans efficiently focusing on the customer needs.
You focus on uniting the Life Science Services full capabilities to ensure a differentiated customer experience.
You report to the Global Head of Commercial, Life Science Services and regularly interact with senior management.
This is a field-based role.
In addition to project work, you will also be expected to contribute to the creation of a new service-focused commercial ecosystem.
This role is a critical leadership position in the LSS Commercial organization and will work across all sales teams within LSS to develop and implement a strategic accounts program.
Develop comprehensive strategic account strategy in conjunction with Global Head of Commercial, LSSAssess and recommendation improvements in GTM structure to improve engagement with strategic accountsDevelop multi-year account strategies to ensure sustainable, predictable, and profitable expansion of share of wallet at targeted accountsBuild deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders (technical & commercial) and elevating these to the highest levels within customer organizationsProvide long-term business insights and consistent business updates on targeted accounts to position Life Science Services as a preferred outsourcing partnerPartner with counterparts in other business divisions to develop comprehensive account plans for the Life Science business sectorDrive constant improvement of customer relationships to establish true strategic partnerships up to C-LevelRegularly prepare and present reports and analyses in formal meetings with divisional and sector executive leadership teamsIndependently develop clear and well-defined plans, driving strategy into actions and delivering measurable results Who You Are:

Qualifications:

years of B2B sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility; experience with pharma/biotech outsourcing market segments preferredStrong financial acumen, understanding of P&L and cost drivers; proven ability to build a quarterly/annual business planExtensive negotiating and contracting experience; high comfort level in closing large deals with senior level executives Preferred
Qualifications:

years' experience working a complex matrixed B2B sales organization, including responsibility for forecasting, building/managing a sales pipeline, managing senior/executive level account relationships, and driving a multi-year account/territory planFamiliar with, and has used CRM tools such as Salesforce for dashboards, reports, metrics and analytics to run a sales team through CRM dashboardsAnalytically driven and exposure to various tools and technologiesStrong quantitative mindset combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional project management and presentation skillsOutstanding people development and management skills; ability to coach junior team members and help guide their careersDemonstrated experience providing intellectual and task leadership on complex projectsAbility to work independently in an unstructured environment, think on your feet, and respond with confidence and creativity Recommended Skills Biology Biotechnology Business To Business Coaching And Mentoring Commercial Awareness Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
