Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Perform all maintenance and repair work necessary to maintain interior and exterior of residential property.
Perform basic carpentry skills including patching, grouting, installing tiles, repairs to doors, windows, etc.
Perform plumbing duties including installing or replacing garbage disposals, faucets, washers, zone valves, toilets, waster lines, backups and other minor plumbing problems Replace lights and light fixtures, sockets, outlets, switches and ballasts as needed and perform other minor electrical work Replace appliances and shades as well as all mechanics needed for new tenant move-ins.
Check and reset boilers if necessary and replace couplings on pumps All other mechanics of the system are referred to maintenance supervisor or heating expert Take care of assigned power tools and return to inventory each day.
Maintain stock.
Observe all safety regulations when handling vehicles, heavy equipment, dumpsters and all other mechanical equipment.
Under direction of Maintenance Supervisor, carry out a snow removal plan Remove snow and sand/salt all stairs and walkways Sand parking lots Maintenance and upkeep of vehicles reporting any problems to Supervisor.
A-call duty.
