Position Summary The Sr. Manager, FP&A will be responsible for a wide variety of reporting, planning and forecasting responsibilities for CIRCOR. This role will require close interaction with local business unit finance teams and general management. The role will support the executive team through reporting actual, forecast, budget and other ad hoc results. Reporting includes internal and external (earnings call and investor relations support). Principal Activities o Serve as a strategic thought partner to VP of FP&A and CFO o Key member of the team supporting flawless earnings call process including earnings presentation, messaging, Q&A preparation, and peer read across o Support preparation for investor events including run-of-show, investor profiles, group meeting scheduling, and logistics o Lead cross-company projects to improve consistency and accuracy of key operational and financial metrics (e.g. pricing, inflation, productivity) o Support presentations and preparation for Board of Directors meetings (6x / year) o Own Corporate functional cost budgets and actuals reporting; identify cost out opportunities through analysis and coordination across Corporate leadership team o Support quarterly close activities including ad-hoc reporting and 10-Q / 10-K filing o Support company planning processes for all short / long term forecasts for income statement, balance sheet and cash flow o Support implementation of new consolidation, planning, and reporting tool across CIRCOR o Proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company's planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy o Key team member evaluating the Company's financial reporting needs and solutions. o Analyze and manage accrual levels for the Company's short-term incentive plan. o Ad hoc analysis as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Skills & Abilities o Deep understanding of how each of the three financial statements are impacted by the commercial and manufacturing operations of an industrial company o Exceptional critical thinking skills that allow candidate to analyze financial results for a complex, global industrial company and identify operational drivers of variances to forecasts or prior periods o Ambitious self-starter with a proven track record of dealing with ambiguity, defining and executing improvement projects, working cross functionally and directly with senior management, and delivering on commitments at or ahead of deadlines with the highest quality o Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision o Is not hesitant to the extra mile to meet given commitments or to fulfill clearly communicated expectation of stakeholders o Comfortable utilizing financial systems; BPC experience is a plus o Goal-oriented way of working with process improvement mentality Education & Experience o Experience in a multi-national, publicly listed U.S. company o 6
years of FP&A experience o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics o Experience with an integrated ERP system and financial consolidation system in manufacturing or distribution environment o Experience and understanding of US GAAP o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English) o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
