Now we are ready for you, a passionate, proactive marketing expert to head up our technical marketing efforts and empower our team to do its best work yet. Humio's seasoned Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) will support Humio's marketing organization as a technical evangelist for the Humio platform and capabilities. This role will help build and develop technical content for a variety of campaigns and events including blogs, how-to guides, podcasts, videos, webinars and more. The TME will proactively provide technical expertise in program strategy and development and serve as a subject matter expert for Humio's marketing team and commercial organization with a focus on digital marketing campaigns. They will assess market needs, continuously engage in competitive analysis, design technical materials, facilitate training sessions, and help shape the direction of Humio campaigns. This position is more than just educating on technical content or helping to validate technical ideas. The right candidate will be strategic, proactive, self driven, and inspire people to think differently about how they approach, buy, and manage enterprise log management. You will be in a highly visible role on a rapidly moving team at the forefront of data management. An ideal candidate will have deep DevOps, IT Ops and security knowledge and experience, excellent communication skills, creativity, and a passion for teaching others about technology. The TME should be accustomed to and very comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals Design, develop, and distribute content and resources such as presentations, demonstrations, demos, reference materials, and other marketing documentation Collaborate with other marketing, engineering, product, and leadership resources to build highly scalable and compelling content and demos Understand market trends, needs of the sales team and regional competitive influences to develop highly desirable content for Humio's prospective customers Ensure the quality and consistency of webinar content throughout a webinar life cycle Serve as a senior technical resource for the Marketing team Qualifications Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience. 10
years or equivalent experience in consulting, support, sales engineering, technical training, or technical marketing Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently while also managing expectations of customers and Senior Management Enterprise security domain experience a must Technical background with ability to get hands-on with the product Experience working with global teams on multiple projects and programs Strong relationship management and team skills, flexible, attentive to detail and quality Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technology demonstration techniques (i.e. live demo, presentations, screencasts, webinars, etc.) Experience in tracking and analyzing market trends, competitive positioning and marketing programs
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & Management, Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
