The Senior Business Analyst provides liaison and analysis services among stakeholders in order to understand the product departments IT needs and operations elements required to support the products success. The Senior Business Analyst recommends technology solutions that enable the product team to achieve its operational goals. The Senior Business Analyst assists in Integration and acceptance testing, supports the development of training and implementation material, participates in the implementation, and provides post-implementation support / analysis. Specific duties include:
Lead IT efforts to elicit, analyze, and document Business Requirements/user stories, Functional Specifications, Business Process Flow (analyze, model and diagram business processes - both as-is and to-be), Business Process Mapping using BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) notation, and Modeling. Use SharePoint application as a document management and collaboration tool.
Liaison with the product management team and IT technical team to communicate business goals, processes and requirements.
Work in conjunction with IT Software development team to oversee and participate in designing and developing technical functionality to translate business requirements into IT solutions.
Work with internal and external customers to build application prototypes and manage the creation of system and process representations to validate that the built product matches users needs
Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), asking detailed functionality aspects of business process and updating the information to the requirements in an understandable format.
Create Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams such as Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams as well as Data Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Flow Charts using MS Visio or Rational Rose.
Work with the Software Quality Assurance team to develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, including reviewing and approving test scripts for system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance testing to ensure system changes align with business requirements.
Review and approve test scripts, project expected results, and verify functional integrity of the system design.
Develop traceability matrices and ensure the alignment and tracking of requirements, functionality specifications and test cases.
Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members while identifying and resolving complex system production support issues, which include partnering with the Software development team to detect root causes, and working with end users to identify technical requirements gaps.
Develop detailed gap analysis including current state, desired state, gap and proposed IT application resolution based on priorities.
Lead end user training initiatives by developing training programs, training documentation and conduct training sessions.
10% domestic travel as required by client projects.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline followed by 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Computer Software professional performing business analysis. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
Demonstrated knowledge of administration functions within healthcare industry, including, HIPPA, HiTech, Provider care and Pharmacy processes;
2 years of experience using enterprise requirements elicitation and bug management tools including TFS, JIRA and using SharePoint application;
Demonstrated knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Scrum, including working on Agile teams, defining User Stories and requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support;
Demonstrated experience with relational databases including writing SQL queries, procedures and functions to compare and analyze data consistency issues;
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements or user stories by facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and conducting end user interviews and translating them to functional specifications for developers including using business modeling techniques, process, workflow modeling and use cases; and
Demonstrated ability to create Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams such as Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams as well as Data Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Flow Charts using MS Visio or Rational Rose.
Employer will also accept a Masters degree and three (3) years of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
