Location- Burlington, MA
Duration- 6+months
.Rate : $55/hr on C2C
Responsibilities:
Will contribute in developing a learning platform based on the Moodleroom using PHP and Ruby on Rails. Will provide the direction to a team of a lead and developers offshore. Will work closely with customer's technical leadership team in design and overall technical direction of the project. Will be responsible for work allocation and tracking to the offshore team and will be the primary owner of the timely and quality deliverables to the customer.
Required Skills:
Coordinate with customer technical architects, technical leads and business analysts
Coordinate with customer stakeholders to review Virtusa team deliverables
Create high-level and detail technical designs
Review technical design and code generated by the offshore team
Develop code for complex components or as required
Preferred Skills:
5-6 years of application development and design experience
Expertise in PHP, Ruby on Rails and MySQL
Expertise in J2EE technologies JSP, Servlets, Java Beans, JDBC
Expertise in Javascript, JQuery or ExtJs, Ajax, XML, XSLT, XSD, HTML, CSS
Onsite-offshore team management skill.
Good communication and customer management skill
